Ingabebooks is made by 3codevault. This page explains what information the Ingabebooks app, this website and our license service handle, and why.

Your business records stay on your computer

Everything you record in Ingabebooks (sales, expenses, assets, loans, customers, suppliers, opening balances and business details) is stored in a file on your own computer. We do not upload it, sync it, or have any access to it. Excel files you export are saved wherever you choose.

Because your records only exist on your computer, keep regular backups: the app's guidance suggests exporting your reports each month. Uninstalling the app removes its data from your computer.

License activation

When you enter a license key, the app sends that key and an identifier for your computer to our license service, so the license can be tied to one computer. Nothing about your business is sent. The app does not contact our service again after activation.

For each license, our license service stores:

• the email address the license was issued to, and the license key
• the identifier of the computer it is activated on
• the plan, row limit, expiry date and status
• how it was paid for (monthly or yearly, and the amount)

We use this only to issue, check, renew and support your license.

License requests

License requests are made through a Google Form. What you enter there (such as your name, business and contact details) is used to issue your license and to contact you about it. Google processes form responses under its own privacy policy.

This website

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The staff sign-in area uses cookies from our sign-in provider (Clerk) only to keep staff signed in.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct or delete the license information we hold about you. Contact us through the request form.
